Coalition supports rivers as the heart of Philadelphia

On October 6th, a coalition of organizations stood on the banks of the Schuylkill River to advocate for a continuous, connected greenway along Philadelphia's major riverfronts - the Delaware and Schuylkill River.

Regional organizations such as PennFuture, Schuylkill River Development Corporation, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, the Delaware River City Corporation and many others joined the coalition to ensure that all Philadelphians have access to our spectacular riverfronts.

Afterwards, participants had the opportunity to kayak along the Schuylkill Banks with Hidden River Outfitters.
